I don’t think virtual reels have to follow real world rules exactly, so you can’t really compare it to real world reels.

If IGT was intent to make the odds the same, it would be easy to achieve. For example, I claim the odds of winning on the 3-reel game are (1/368)^3 = 1 in 49,836,032. That could be accomplished on a 5-reel game by putting one logo on each of 5 reels, with 46 stops on reels 1, 2, and 3, 32 on reel 4, and 16 on reel 5.
